Superbike's One Night Stand

The attention of World Superbike fans will be directed toward the U.S. next weekend. The one and only U.S. leg of the series will be held near Salt Lake City at Miller Motorsports Park on May 31.
The BMW team riding the racing version of the S 1000RR suffered a bit at the last race in Kyalami, South Africa. Their top rider came in at 18th, and neither Ruben Xaus nor Troy Corser finished in the money. In the points standings overall, Xaus is in 16th, Corser in 17th. American (and Longview's own) Ben Spies is in 3rd place overall.
